La Asociación de Cricket Argentina se ha embarcado en un proceso de búsqueda para conseguir un nuevo Entrenador Nacional, luego de la reciente partida de Hamish Barton a Nueva Zelanda.
El candidato que sea elegido tendrá dos grandes desafíos en los siguientes 12 meses, La Liga Mundial (División 4) y la Copa América (División 1). Además de entrenar al Seleccionado Mayor, el puesto incluirá manejar el programa argentino de Alto Rendimiento, que abarca también los mejores jugadores de las categorías M23, M19 y M15, así como el seleccionado femenino.
El candidato deberá cumplir con los siguientes requisitos:
– Deberá tener un aceptable y relevante calificación como entrenador
– Habilidad de entrenar jugadores a nivel internacional
– Preferentemente con sólidos antecedentes de entrenamiento y educación
– Poseer excelente capacidad organizacional y comunicación escrita y verbal
– Habilidad para relacionarse con gente de diferentes edades, géneros y status
– Experiencia jugando, entrenando y administración en cricket preferentemente
– Buen manejo de computación
– Experiencia en manejo de finanzas y presupuestos
– Excelente manejo de personas y capacidad de motivación
El candidato elegido deberá comenzar sus tareas al comienzo de Octubre de 2009, y deberá estar disponible como mínimo por un año. Se ofrecerá un salario atractivo y paquete de beneficios, incluyendo el alojamiento.

The Argentine Cricket Association has embarked on a recruitment process to secure a new National Coach, following the recent departure of Hamish Barton to Cricket New Zealand.
The successful candidate will have two major challenges within the next twelve months, the World Cricket League Division 4 tournament, and an ICC Americas Division 1 championship. In addition to coaching the senior men’s national squad, the position will also include managing Argentina’s high performance program, which also includes working with the senior fringe players, the best players in the U23, U19 and U15 age brackets, as well as the senior women’s team.
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
– Must hold acceptable and relevant coaching qualification
– Ability to coach players at international level
– Preferably have strong coaching and educational background
– Possess excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
– Ability to deal with people of all ages, genders and backgrounds
– Experience in playing, coaching and administration of cricket preferred
– Good computer literacy and administrative skills
– Experience in management of finances and budgets
– Excellent man-management and motivational skills
The successful candidate will be expected to commence in October of 2009, and must be available for at least one (1) year. An attractive salary and benefits package will be offered, including accommodation.
